    Remote

    Hi all
    I got a locksmith with a Nanocom who knows his stuff! Key starts car but will not lock or unlock! Hi thinks it's wrong feqency. Not 433 MHz any one can shine a light on this.

    D2 definitely 433 at least for 2004. I think D1 were 315. The brains trust stampede should start about now!

    Afaik D2s in certain regions (Japan?) used a different frequency, so it's possible. But only if the car is not immobilised.

    315 mhz up to 99 my , then 433 in Australia.
    could be a faulty roof receiver

    1. Can you see the red LED in the instrument pack reacting to the fob command?
    2. Can you unlock the doors with the dash switch ?

    If the vehice is on factory setting and wasnt programmed after to disable the passive immobiliser a dead RF receiver would not let it start either so it can be just a central locking issue.
