What sort of pricing do they ask for the CDL transfer boxes and interior lever parts etc from wrecks?

The genuine lever setup costs a bomb, I've seen asking prices of $450+, but I picked up a reasonable D2a t/case for $350 off FB marketplace.
It's been rebuilt at some point in its life but the intermediate shaft bush hasn't been done.
The t/case in my car has only done 130,000km so I'll probably rebuild it, I know it's history.
The vacuum operated mechanism uses the solenoid that's made redundant from an EGR delete.
I like simple, e.g. the stock setup but I think this is quite elegant, too.

The plan is to do it plus a HD torque converter and flex plate at the same time.
As for most of us that plan was derailed somewhat by the rad failing which in my mind entailed the entire cooling system be overhauled, the exhaust manifold machined, a bigger IC and the oil cooler sorted.

I just won't go with the Maxi low range as I had in the Deefer, more from the howl of the straight cut gears than anything else.
