    ## I found a repair service order on this clutch kit in the chart in December 2019. 5kkm have already gone by with this kit. well, at least this one is known to be unreliable.

    >>> Can you move the fork by hand in any way? is there a lot of slackness in the way it moves back and forth?

    ## Yes. I can move it on its path without resistance or noise

O volante precisa ser substituído, junto com a embreagem e a placa de pressão.
Verifique a folga no eixo de entrada da caixa de engrenagens, não deve haver quase nenhuma flutuação de extremidade detectável.

    Translation:

The flywheel needs replacing , along with the clutch and pressure plate.
Check the play on the gearbox input shaft , there should be almost no detectable end float

Also replace the spigot bearing , soak the new one in oil the night before changing it.

Is it porous? I find it odd to soak what seems to be a solid piece of metal in oil. If I ever have to do this, I will soak it, it seems counter intuitive to me.

I think I saw this on Britrest or something similar.
I believe it's a powdered brass/bronze or whatever and compressed (forged?) but either way yes it's solid to you and me, but all metals are porous to a degree.

I recall he explained something similar to that above, and I may have some details incorrect up there, but the basics are this way.
I wasn't concentrating in class that particular episode due to there being no need to understand spigot buses for automatics!
(ie. not only am I a slacker, I'm also lazy .. and prefer the gears to be changed magically)

If you can't wait for the overnight oil soak, this will work.

Place thumb over one end of bush. Fill with gear oil. If you then put pressure on the oil with other thumb you will see the oil sweat through the bronze.

You might need to do this a couple of times before you see it happen.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
