    Internal Bead Locks 35s

    Hi, any one run second air internal beadlocks on simex 35s on the D2?

    I don't think I've seen anyone run beadlocks on a Disco2. I've got 34x11.5-16 JT2 which I ran without beadlocks without issue. That's on factory 16x8's though which have really good bead retainers. Aftermarket rims are more likely to need Second airs.

    Then again, I guess it depends on how nuts you want to go!

    Same, I've got them too, they are good. They're just not on the Disco2.

    Have you seen his car? I need a ladder to get in, the lift is so tall!

    I might go external beadlocks and run 35 simexs centre peds and see how I go, as some people had issue with Internal bead locks

    I guess an advantage of the internals, is that they're legal if the hole is drilled by a wheel person, and they retain the inside bead also.

    And with a high sidewall if you blow a tyre it’s far easier to control.
