    Where, under the bonnet, can i tap a 12V source, ignition on reliant, for DRL?

    If you bypassed the EGR you have a good ignition live in the unused EGR valve solenoid's connector brown/pink wire

    Yes, you have two connectors there from the EGR to the solenoids, black and green, the brown/pink wire is ignition live in them from fuse F2, eventually check the electrical library - connector views C0270, C0272....you can get rid of that whole "gadget" if the EGR is bypassed

    If it'sblanked and if you want to leave the ''hardware" there unplug those solenoids anyway cos they put unnecessary load on that circuit unless it was remapped for a no EGR version and you can use those ignition lives for other applications to feed relay coils from there
