Unfortunately EGR switch off is done in tune/remap or whatever you wanna call it.

Thanks all for asking a question and providing a solution before I have even had a use for it !

I have written it in my notebook and will go and tag the connector tomorrow for future use.

I thought you meant the egr delete when you mentioned nanocom after the EGR discussion my reply was about that not about the DRL activation... albeit enabling DRLs with nanocom won't work just like that, it needs a resistor, unless the vehicle is scandinavian or japan spec.

Cheers Simon, I've replaced the broken and tatty, original fog lights with aftermarket, high quality USA sourced units. They have come with two globes per lamp, I want to utilise the extra globe as a DLR, so will use Sierrafery's solution.

The lights were purchased as a direct replacement, no modifications needed. The only commonality or similarity to the originals, is the diameter of the lens being within 10mm of the Land Rover units.
I've had to fabricate bracketry incorporating adjustment on three planes. In typical time's running out fashion, it would appear ARB, when they manufactured the bull bar, owned neither a jig nor ruler, so consequently each side had to be designed individually.
It started as a ten minute job that took a day and a half!

    Hello Ian,

What is this DLR thing you refer to? Also, can you provide more information about the lights themselves?

    Kind regards
    Lionel

He means DRL, Lionel, and he's referring to Daytime Running Lights.

    I don't think he's dyslexic, but I know he's busy atm.

Thanks John, busy's not the word. It's three steps forward then two steps back and just to make it interesting, I've put my back out.
