    Door latch step device

Are these ok? I wonder if they will break the door latch. I have been given one, rated at 150kg.
    TIA

Before I had a Land Rover I did not have any torque wrenches. Now I have three.

The door latches are rated at over 1T. I would be more worried about the step breaking.

I look fatter in the photos. The step is rated at 150Kg. Thanks for the reply, I had no idea the latch was that strong.

I've used them for a couple of years with no detriment that I can see, they also have a sharp point on the end to use as a glass breaker

The latch itself is rated to 1t burst force, the metal panel however isn’t resilient enough to resist bending under heavy loading downwards - just designed to not tear outwards in an impact.

So be aware you can bend / flex your b pillar panel.
