Ahh forgot about the Astra pump, they had this in around 2007, did a bit of research a couple of years ago as to replacing the ACE pump as at the time thought the endless air mount for a compressor where ACE is would be the best means of pumping up tyres with the 4 wheel snake that I made, really like this product.
One of the Landy sites had the same thought but they dismissed it as being unsuitable for this purpose (ACE) and now seeing the pressure requirement, now know why. The D2 PAS pump puts out at max 61Bar, still less than half the ACE.
The re-siting of the ACE pump to the PAS position is not as simple as a couple of bolts.
Makher do some fantastic stuff, they supposedly also have a cradle for a sale for the mounting of the M57 or any motor as they also do the LS V8's
That compressor would probably have to be mounted in the rear, as D2 already have a set of pipes available to pipe to the front, not as daunting as it could be, if the M57 alternator is 180amps then the extra amps over the TD5 is all taken up.
