    New radiator needed

Mate took his son's TD5(2004)down to see his doctor. He noticed it was leaking when he got there.
Its got a nice split down near the bottom.
Is there a particular brand that does it better than others or it doesnt really matter.
Also where would be the best place to purchase said radiator.
    He lives in Sydney
    TIA
    cheers DG

You can get alloy ones, such as PWR, Allisport etc, but I think most just get an genuine/OEM replacement. The Td5's have heaps of capacity in the cooling system.
    Cheers

In Europe the best aftermarket for Td5 is considered Nissens 64312A, i bought one myself about 5 years ago and i'm pleased with it

That's the one to buy considering how long the original ones last.

I replaced mine with a Glasgow Radiator 11029, which was I think also an OEM. Not available and the Nissen is. Note not a Nissan!

Mario wouldn't sell sub-par parts, he sourced a Nissen for Epic Dragon's car.
    Any feedback ED?

I got an Allisport in mine Cost me about $1600 from memory.

A lot of money I know, however it gives me piece of mind when I am in the middle of the simpson desert I will not over heat or have a radiator fail.

Eliminates all plastic bits which are a weak point. Also Allisport claim that this radiator is about 30% better cooling efficiancy.

I can tow a very heavy 20 foot caravan on a 40 degree day and the temp gauge never moves past the middle.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."
