    D2 Rear Bar Steel

    Hi All,

I destroyed my plastic rear bar on my D2 at Wombat a couple of weeks ago. After much procrastination i have decided to get a steel one for a replacement. Is there anywhere other than Kaymar tat makes a good looking D2 steel bar? I just think that tey charge a little to much.

    Thanks in advance

    Tim

I have a Kaymar one and it's very very heavy and very expensive for what it is.

The rear of the DII is heavy enough without extra weight putting the shocks through more hard work.

So many people have opened my rear door without undoing the spare wheel swingaway arm and so my rear door has a couple of dents in it where it has impacted the spare wheel carrier....

There's definitely other replacement rear bars out there that may offer similar function for a lot less cost and weight to a Kaymar.
