    SUPERCHEAP, MAF cleaner

Rang around thismorning looking for some MAF sensor cleaner, tried repco, auto barn, r&e auto, bursons, even middendorp electrical, but they all said sorry we dont know what that is. Middys did have some type of electrical cleaner but I wasnt sure, so as a last resort I rang Supercheap autos and the young pimply faced kid on the other end said let me look for you, and much to my surprise he comes back and says ''yes sir we have that here, CRC MAF sensor spray''. So I flashed down and got me a can ( 25 bucks mind you),and used it there in the car park. I think it actually worked too, so thats a bonus. While their I see on the shelf a wide range of blue silicon intercooler hoses, big, small, bent, straight, different lengths, so with any luck there might be some there to fit the discovery. Had a look at the brand name on them and now I forget what it was, something like Calibre I think.

I got mine from Repco in Nunawading a couple of weeks ago... cost me under $20

It's a CRC product looks like this... I would think your local Repco should be able to get it for you.

You dont need to use specifically the MAF cleaner. I use general contact cleaner. Works fine.

The Jaycar contact cleaner is much cheaper AFAIR although in a smaller pack.
I reckon the CRC would last a couple of lifetimes.
