i like the standard ones better lol, must be the only one,
i just think they have a more classic LR look about them...
plus the money is better spent on some lightforce XGTs IMO

Did you take any photo's when you did it? i really want to do this conversion and have spent hours trying to find something decent online to show me how to do it, but can't find anything thats free or even just a few pictures of step by step! It's annoying. You say that you just need to cut and drill holes? so no tig welding like hendrik mentioned?
Cheers,
Shamo
Gday All,Looked at the pictures of the cuts you need to make, you wouldnt want to get it wrong...Would proberly have to drop the front bar if you have one.
the end result is a good look..Think theres some other goodies CDL to come before that.
Would like to hear some prices on the lights, haven't done so myself but have heard$1000 a set...sound right..
Cheers Ean
The idea I got from some pics, are that you cut away the originaly housings for the lights, and then the d2a headlights is placed in that space. They are fastened by two top screws, well that is the idea I get from rave anyway. But cannot work out how the bottom of the headlight assembly is held in place. Would any D2a owner be able to confirm that. Some pics would be much appreciated.

LOL ok I am officially off the idea of converting mine. I don't want to be a wannabe. Sorry Shamo, you are on your own. I am kind of starting to agree with Toby about the classic LR look.

Im not sure how to drag it from the previous page, but in thread #4 there is a link with the photos of what needs to be cut..Thats why I said you wouldn't want to get it wrong...unless your handy with a mig.
A wannabe is a lot cheaper option from where im sitting..
Cheers Ean
Fair enough, but I still cannot get a good idea what holds the headlights in place. And yeah you wouldn't want to get it wrong, its one of those things where you would have to measure it 50times over and over to make sure its right.

You know it does look good, but not That good Stevo. As someone said in an earlier post, for the cost of the lights you could get a top set of HID driving lights on board.
my $1.95
