Nope, pressure washed it! The pics were taken shortly after finishing the turbo setup and I gave it all a good clean. It's not to bad now though since I went looking for oil leaks and fixing them when I had it apart. The cam plug and a bolt that retained the EGR heat exchanger were the main culprits.

man the only time i have seen a engine that clean was of the show room floor

I'm embarrassed now. I'll have to go out there tonight and spray oil and dirt all over it.

Here's my '00 D2 - had it 2.5 years now, which I bought pretty much bog standard, except for a Piranha Dual Battery System. Some of the things I have fitted are:
