The flex in my D2 is sufficient for what I want to do with it.
I like this Landy!:D
BTW. This was in Korannaberg area.
Got this 99 TD5 7 seater about 18 months ago from another AULRO member stock standard and have been building up from there.
ARB bullbar 2nd hand from another AULRO member.
ARB side steps 'n Milford from the Trading Post.
Pulled out the rear seats and made up the storage system you see that is modular and mounts down the the tie-down points. 2nd battery in the RH compartment (Traxide SC40)
Pic of centre console if of my CDL actuator...$75 of bits...
Custom made fridge slide... SWMBO gave me a fridge for Xmas:):) and then a cover ...we got 2 dogs so they can now jump in when the cover section is on. You may notice that the moon windows??? have contact on them...helps to keep the back cooler.
There is a shot of the rear bumper where I sliced off the offending scoop sections that kept . This replcement... you guessed it.. from another AULRO guy:D
Goes to show what a great forum this is...:twobeers:
Running King sprigs and OME shocks up front 30mm lift, blew in a extra few PSI into the SLS to level it out and about to put Dobinson shocks in the rear this week end.
I have a custom made roof rack as well that I can bolt my DIY awning onto as well.
