How were Devon 4x4 to deal with?
Did you buy the winch from them or others?
Have just ordered a safari snorkel from First Four (very cheap), but I now wish I'd spent the extra $100 and went for the Mantec.
Car looks great! Something for us all to aspire to...... if only the old ball and chain was so keen.
Devon have been excellent, but expensive, re. ball and chain I find it best not to total the bills!!! i.e. never ever say what the total cost would have been, could have bought a D4!! But that's not the point!. The rear bumper is as good as winch bar and we've modified the ladder to retain that as a step up.

Ok maybe a simple WOW! didn't do JBobScotts Disco enough justice.

How about if I increase it to WOW!

You are right though it is one special bit of gear to say the least.

    Cheers,
    Terry

    My Discovery 2

    Hi All,
I logged onto this site 18 months ago to learn as much as i can before i bought my D2 and decked it out for touring and camping. I must thank you all for the info i have read and am very happy with the vehicle being my first 4x4. The only issue i am dealing with at the moment is my new rear Bilsteins topping-out but am in the midst of sorting this again from the pages of this forum. The photos are from our first trip away to Fraser Island last month.

nice rig and setup. question for you. i am looking at a similar setup. does the rear tailgate open fully with the ladder in place for the rooftop tent? that is my main concern at the present with setting it up like that.
