How did you manage to hide the periscope?:D

i guess i should chuck my rig in the pool, ive got the ****s with it atm

2" lift, dobinson springs, lovells shocks (converted from SLS)
bilstein steering dampner,
airtek,
custom sliders,
home made front recovery point,
steelies sporting 265/75/R16 maxxis bighorns,
modified rear wheel carrier,
USB/MP3 head unit,
lots of scratches dints and one blown rear dif,
rebuilt front drive shaft with greasable uni's,
custom levuka half exhaust,
and other then that the UHF and bluetooth which was in there when i got it,and the very custom front bar with its ever improving approach angle :P

i've ordered the twin lockers, n about to order the full hi tough axles kit and ashcroft cvs, and 4.1 cwps, sway bar disconnects. blown 2 rear difs this year and decided to bite the bullet... that hopefully will all be in the car in the next month or so, then its the 4" lift

2001 5speed TD5.

LOL....I didnt think it was going to be that deep! I did manage to drive it out though...

:D It was getting like that!


No damage. The ditch was really deep. When I was on it I checked it out and then pulled out. That was up at Cape York so we were loaded and it was too high risk for the trip.

Any chance we can make this a Sticky Thread in the D2 section???

Modifications as picked up; ARB bull bar, Narva driving lights, Warn 8000lb winch, Safari snorkel, TJM full length drop roof rack, Piranha duel batt. with duel outlets to rear.Uniden 27mhz cb, GME TX4000 uhf, Tow bar,

My modifications; New bull bar, bonnet, 1 driving light, h'lite clips, grille, ect. all thanks to a ROO 6 weeks after owner-ship.
Rewired driving lights and ariels on return from the panel shop. Gas bottle holder to roof rack and extended hose on stove, High-lift and shovel holder to side of roof rack, Rubbish/wet strap bag on spare, TX4400 uhf, Uniden pro510 cb, LRA centre diff lock(cable handle in front of seat), Redarc duel batt. solinoid with tell tale light on dash, Excide extreme 2nd. batt. fitted on modified tray, Cooper 265/75/16, Inverted spare carrier, Falcon cargo barrier mounted to top of home made shelf in rear with tie down points, Waeco 35ltr fridge/freezer with two zone remote moniter, Motor rebuild starts 08/09.(Son on high lift), Stickers of places visited or used only.

Switch fitted to light L/H reverse light off Aux. batt. for camping light (used a diode to stop back feeding).
Roo whistles on Bull bar.
Garmin 12 fitted to side of CB mount.

Wish list;
MOTOR,

Pad on console lid to match hight with door trim (It'l be like an arm rest).
2nd spare tyre(on it's way).

Finally I'm able to put some photos of the beast.
Location: Romania.
Seldom leaves the paved road, never used for off-roading.

Bullbar will be fitted in the next days, with Hella foglights.
It's a TD5 ES from 2000, recently fitted with cruise control.

Two tone is awesome! Did you do that or is it factory?
