Don't worry about the lights, they are hundreds of dollars when they break rather than <$100-, plus you need to cut metal, change the mouldings under the lights and maybe the bar as well.
Just buy a good second hand bar, color code it and driving lights.
After driving the D2 for few days now, Anybody that tells me its the same as the D1 has got to be kidding! Im ecstatic with the ride in this thing, simply different beast altogether than the D1 ..
I still have fond memories of my D1, it was a short wheelbase manual and I had fun throwing it around town when I wasn't towing. This girl is definitely bigger, but still familair, I love it
Well my kids called my old classic rangie "Ricky" or Richard range rover and the name stuck. "Charlie" was a possible in keeping with pom royalty first names and also as he occasionally pulls a Windsor caravan that is a veritable castle. But to top it all off as the designer of the classic rangie, Charles Spencer King's initials, CSK, were on the numberplate so he had to be Charlie.

Reason: typo
We've always worked on Landies needing to earn their name. My original was camol (yes "o") after it having a camoflage paint scheme. The Rangie was gumby, green and flexed everywhere (before I fixed the suspension), the D2 hasn't earned stripes yet). But all who have seen it so far can make suggestions.
This Is My D2 its pretty basic but will answer a question for alot of people out there.... Its runnin 265/75 r 16 tyres and is on the stock standard suspension.... and as you can see suits the D2 great, just dont expect a great turning circle!
