Did a trip yesterday to the Pinnacles here in East Gippsland.
Did the long 9km climb early in the morning and we were met with a wonderful cloud layer covering the Wonnangatta valley below.

Went to the lookout and the cloud layer had completely dissipated by that stage, making for some magic views.

Had lunch and then headed back down Billy Goats and returned home via Dargo and Brookville to Swifts Creek..

Went to meryla state Forrest yesterday and removed front sway bar
Made a huge difference and was ok on road on the way way back via Robertson
The new springs and shocks probably helped with that too

I took the Mrs for a 4X4 trip in the RRC ute, it may not have been my best idea, no carpet, no stereo, no A/C.... etc... the last straw was when doing a river crossing she was appalled that water... a fair bit of water was on the inside of the cab.... So although she loved the places we could get to, the creature comforts left her wanting....

So a few days later i see a 2004 D2a TD5 Auto in Monte Carlo Blue for a reasonable price in South Australia... It has all the creature comforts that SWMBO requires and will make a great vehicle for us to get out and about for our photography.

I flew to Adelaide to pick it up and drove straight home to Melbourne withou any issues.... well other than a serious lack of power!!!

The goal with this one is to keep her as stock as possible, just add touring and recovery accessories....
