I thought this thread was similar to my problem but my compressor has just totally given up; can't even hotwire it.
Is there anyway to get some air back into the bags independantly of the original compressor. I just want to drive the 60ks to my mechanic to get some standard coils in for the time being. Currently dragging its tail in the dirt.
So, I am guessing the original bags are ok, and just the compressor snuffed it?

If so, do you still have the bags?

    Snuffed Compressor

Pedro I like the concept of the in line tube valves to do a manual pump up if the compressor snuffs it in an emergency situation. I just wonder if anyone has taken it the next step and plumbed in an additional onboard compressor such as an ARB one to assist a sick or dying compressor.
Take a relay of the SLS compressor wire to turn on the "helper compressor" and plumb the 2 outputs together? The capacity of the original seems quite pathetic for the money they cost to replace. For just a couple of hundred you could get a lot more action.

I replaced mine only 4 years ago and it is again on the 'go slow' so needing to be replaced again. If anyone had done this would be interested to hear.
