    TD5 D2 glow plug

    The glow plug light on my D2 does not come on and early morning struggles to start.
    Anny suggestions on where to start looking?

    wiring diagram? fuses? relays? test light on the glow plug?

    dude where did you find it ? im looking for my glow relay, and have looked under the dash, and under bonet, i have replaced my plugs and have had no joy, i cant find the glow symbol on any of the legonds on the electrical pannels, any clues, btw the glow light comes on for a bout 2-3 seconds ( huge help) but i cant find or see a click from a relay. thanks.

    Was a combination of problems.
    First I replaced the relay. Behind the ECU on the relay row closest to the engine. Can't rmember which one it was.
    Then all the glow plugs was busted so these were replaced.

    For the relay I did not go to LR dealers but to a general spares shop and asked for a BMW heavy duty relay.

    Tested the glowplug with a battery. After three seconds it should be glowing red.
    If not, replace it.
