thanks gents. here's a little more so far today...

been working on and off since about 11am today. i should ahve the wings done and painted tonight. then it's off to a weekend of camping in amicalola, ga.

picked these front disconnects up for $15. a little bit o' wire wheelin' should do the trick.

and now the sides are done. i have the hitch, crossmember mount and side tie-ins to do now. i'm just going to leave it as is for now. next week i might try to finish it up, but i need to relax, so we'll see.

sorry it got dark and these are the best pics i can do...

    Looks Good
Do the sides just cover the bottom quarter panels, or did you chop them up to the trim piece? I have been looking at only covering my lower quarter panels, as I still cannot get myself to chop them completely.

i believe i cut off around 7" from the bottom of the quarter panel. the sides don't go all the way to the wheel well, so it'd be easier to modify if i ever get bigger tires. i would've been much easier to just cut to the trim piece, but i wanted to do it the right way.

thanks. do you mean torque placed on the axles, or how the truck accelerates and drives at speed with these tires and 33s?

it's bearable on the highway and i don't notice a difference on the city streets. offroad it descends a little quicker when in 1gear/low gear, but nothing too bad. with that said i will be upgrading to either toyota internals and special axles or HD rover stuff with 4.11s and lockers within the next year.

the diffs are weak and the axles breakable too. i haven't broken anything, but i do have a spare diff, axles and hub if i do. i'm usually easy on the throttle, but you never know.
