I posted this in the Intro section, but thanks to some good members Have been directed to this area. I am hoping somone can help with the questions below.

Hello All, another newbie
I am new to this forum. I am looking to purchase a Discovery diesel, 2002 to 2004 vintage with 7 seats.(Large family)
I have test driven a few. The stand out is a 2002, 7 seater TD5 with factory air to the third row as well as factory DVD with outlets to both rear rows. The asking price is $22,990 drive away from a dealer. Is this what they call the 7SE?
It also seemed more responsive than others I have driven. It is one owner with full logbook history. It has 150,000km.
It does not have the manualy operated centre diff lock, I am guessing it relies on the traction control to keep momentum going. Has anyone had problems with this.
Is it possible to modify the transfercase to lock the center diff when the lever is set to 4L or should I look for a 2003/2004 model which I recall bought back the driver operated CDL. I must admit, I like the looks of the 2003/2004 model with the dual lights. Is there much difference between the 2002 model & the 2003/2004 model, apart from the lights?
I also found it hard to shift the transfercase lever from H to L & back again. Is this normal?
Is there anyway of testing that the airbag suspension works? Will pressing the up button raise it enough that I will see a difference? Where is the compressor located?
Is there anything else I should be looking for, ie rust, oil leaks, life of airbag susspension etc. What sort of price should I be looking to purchase a 7 seat Discovery in the 2002/2004 year runs?
Does the TD5 have a timing belt or gears? Is there a free on-line workshop manual available?
Sorry about all the questions, I am just trying to make an informed decision before handing out dollars.
