..update...can you believe it...it was a sheared left hand engine mount causing cat cover flex which was making the sound...new mount and she is so quiet for a 7 year old 150k vehicle it makes me blush...seriously I have been in new cars that make more sound. I love the little tiger. I just fitted up a new Bosch MAF for $314 and by god its got some sting back...funny how over time they degrade (this is the second one in 3 years - ie last one was about 3 years ago) even with cleaning when they get some age (although they self clean with intense heat after shutdown).
