Check for the springs rubbing on the chassis - there will be a wear mark.
The springs are manufactured by Lovells in Australia. It'll be a special order for them and they are not usually stocked here, let alone RSA. I think when they make them they do it in batches, but its about 6weeks turn around time.

Thank you all
Do you have any photo without articulation, at parking for example, that helps to see the vehicle height ?If you do decide to go back to the hd coils and is good, then yes you can go for the 235/85s, they're a tight fit but they fit.
Thank you !
I think this is the way (form non extreme crawling like my needs) to do not having problems with caster angle or anything related to steering nor vibrations
I am waiting how much the mount of the winch affects the caster, because I think the car will be 0,5" lower at front with more weight (35 kg). If the wobble do not disappear completely, I will follow your way with the standard HD coils ;-)
Thanks Steve, I like the look of that!
Without wanting to hijack the thread, can anyone please comment further on a few points for the simple minded?
-The 235/85 is the biggest tyre that will fit a standard 16" alloy rim, with no rubbing or loss of turning circle?
-The speedo will be out by....how much?
-The loss of torque/acceleration will be noticeable?
-The spare will still fit on the standard mount?
Cheers,
biggin
I run 235/85/16'" Maxxi Bighorns on mine with a 2"lift. I have none of the problems mentioned here
I have Browns Springs and Bilstein extended shaft shocks all round. Oh, I also fitted extended brake lines just to be sure but have not had a problem. I only run these tyres when heading off road but when we go we are usually towing a pretty solid offroad camper (about 1300kg fully loaded). I have fitted firestone airbags to the rear and run them at about 15psi off road with the trailer, about 5psi without.
