no!, you would need at least a 2'' lift.

I suggest you have a look at the D2au site, we did an experiment a few years agoand 85's were fitted to my then unlifted D2. It was close, but they did fit.

I had a look at at the D2au site and from what I can gather 245/75x16 are the biggest (highest and widest) tyre that can be fitted to a D2 (no lift and standard 16x7 alloy rims) that will definitely not rub in any situation. MTR's look the goods.

I have 235/85s and no lift and not been able to get them to rub, not that i can hear, havent actually got out and looked, there is no signs of rubbing either.

I am about to go 245/75/R16 Cooper ST's or STT's on mine with no lift, I believe I only have to trim the wings on the standard front bumper or convince the wife I need the bullbar now.

If I need to trim anything to fit 245/75x16's, I may have to go smaller

Biggin,

I went out and checked at lunch time and technically I should be able to fit the 245/75/R16 without trimming the bumper, it will be very tight though with maybe only 10mm to spare.

The Copper STT in a 245/75/R16 is 780mm so gives an extra 21mm to the tyre radius.

Finally i have put a 2" coils from Bearmach and OME shocks, with 245/75/16 rubbers :-) Is it possible to have more flex with only +2"

What shocks and what modifs (front turrets ?) are necessary ?

Hi all !

After more than a year with Standard HD coils and 245/75/16 and very good impressions (on-road also), I am very tempted to try again the mount of 235/85/16. I will try to see if they rub the inner fenders at maximum articulation without sway-bars. I am in a dubt into M/T KM2 and A/T that I know perfectly. Perhaps KM2 are not so good than A/T on road.
