If they just fit it still will cause issues.
I have a few rims polished with mud caught between the caliper and rim.Closing the small gap can only be bad, force fed mud into calipers isnt cool.

With that tyre size you wont need a 2inch lift. Some people here have run 265/75/16 on standard suspension, with some but minimal rubbing.

Those pics look good, just a matter of finding 15's with the right stud pattern then.

If any one is interested in custom offset and sized rims for any Land Rover check out this website. They will build rims to your specifications and they will deliver worldwide.

OKoffroad - 4x4 Recovery Gear - News 'N Views - 4x4 Accessories Look under OK Stuff and then Off Road Wheels for information.

Once I confirm what the standard offset for the 8" wide rover rims are I will look at ordering 15" x 8" with the offset shifted by 25mm to widen the wheel track by the maximum 50mm allowed in QLD.

Yeah but honestly who wants to run standard suspension on the car if they are going to be putting tyres that big on it anyway, tyres and lift go hand in hand.

    +57.0mm offset.

Also, if you want to shop local then try Eastern Wheel Works in Victoria. They are very high quality and strong rims.

Its 5x120 and I'm not sure what the centralising spigot dimension is. Also it has an M14 stud which is relatively large.

    Compatible PCD's may be:
Holden commodore are 5x120, VE on went to a 14mm stud also. Not sure of the rest.

    BMW also manufactured 5x120

LandRover P38 RR is completely compatible
LandRover RRS/D3/RR are all 5x120 and M14 but will require a centralising ring for the hub.

Of the above, they are probably all 16" + rims
    Cheers

    Thanks Slunnie,

I thought they where +57mm, so would I be correct in saying that a +32 offset would give an extra 50mm across the wheel track (25mm either side) for a wider stance?

Would the commodore and BMW wheels' load rating be applicable to the D2 though?

Good question. The D2/P38 rims that I have are load rated to 920kg ea. The BMW rims are X5 rims anyway so are probably ok but that would need to be checked. Not sure about the pre VE rims, but the VE rims were uprated with the same M14 nuts so they could handle a factory 300kw - that said, I don;t know what the load rating on them are either.
