you dont need cones the d2 wont flex hard enough!
ive switched to coils and have never regretted it for a second. having said that i dont tow anything and pack pretty light. (i dont need the kitchen sink when i go camping)
the heavy duty coils in mine cope with what ever i chuck in the back and after this weekend out at scenic with the sway bars out they flex great. Honestly regardless of whats said on here i think for reliabilty and piece of mind id go the coils. Less chance of anything going wrong, easier to get fixed out bush, and a lot cheaper if anything does fail. either way id get it sorted because if the system is losing air your compressor wont be far behind!
the conversion kits only $160 or something plus your coils. If your really lucky i might have a 2" kit sitting on the floor of my garage soon!
