    Tyre Advice

    GDay Fellow Land Rovians

I have a standard D2 ES 2001 (V8 AUTO w/ACE). I do some moderate offroading and am looking at new tyres (currently have Hankook HTs.

I am looking at the Silverstone AT117s in 265/70/16, is this size ok without modding my guards (i.e will it rub on a standard height d2?).

Any feedback on these tyres? Good and Bad would be appreciated.

I have looked through the history and there is some feedback, and have researched online and see mostly good news on the AT117s.

    Cheers guys

I have an 04 D2 with coils and standard height, I have just fitted the same AT117's 265/70x16 and besides rubbing on the drivers mud flap only, have had no issues so far with rubbing.

Also went to Rover Park and did a spot of off roading and they coped very well with being aired down to 20psi and plenty of grip. Decently quiet on the hwy too. I know of many people running these tyres and are all very satisfied

    Hope this helps
