Yeah that would also be a good option, I guess you could do something at the laser cutters but that involves extensive CAD work. If I had a mill, the job would have looked even neater. The Ashcroft one is the same, although a gap is milled into the shaft and the lever placed through the shaft which allows for sideways movement of the lever. I probably could have done this without a mill, by drilling a series of holes and neatening it up with a file, but it seamed much easier just to place something around the shaft that allowed the sideways movement of the lever.
Didn't get time to finish this today, as I was busy with other things will try to have it done tomorow. Should look all factory with the leather boot back in place. All I need now is a D2a gear knob.
