I installed the Bluefin on our 2011 Discovery 4 2.7lt last week and am extremely disappointed with the restuls.

Superchip have been helpful in supplying us with 3 different files but it still does not give us any of the promies:
    Every bluefin optimisation delivers:

    • an engine that responds more eagerly to your right foot
    • smoother power delivery making town driving much easier with fewer gear changes
    • improved acceleration for safer overtaking

    For turbocharged diesel cars

    • up to 30% more torque and more power
    • fuel economy improvements

In fact the car has a dead spot at take off and when you put your foot down to accelerate it hesitates.
The cruise control wont hold is speed
It has lost top end power.

We and not happy with ours.

Has any one else had any problems with theres like this.

    This morning with the 3rd file installed coming to work, I notice a couple of things;

    1) The car seems to have improved power and torque

    2) The turbo lag off idle seems to be a bit better over the previous 2 files

    3) I don't think it drives as well as it did with the standard file.

So this afternoon, I will see how it goes, then put the standard file back on and see if there is as much difference as Bluefin claim.

So whats the deal? This information could directly change the behavior of gearbox, tune and CC...

And if you need dealer updates - you'll need your map redone with the new software read from the vehicle otherwise it will overwrite it.
