    New to Nanocom

I have just bought a Nanocom evo. It has been registered and should be working. How ever I find that slabs and the item below it, Valeo BCU are still locked.
Also when I drive it is telling me that it cannot communicate with the ecu.
Can any one please help with any ideas.
I have sent a PM to Colin but have not heard back yet.

    Hiya Worane

I have now replied to your PM.

For reference i should explian that i visit and interact on Forums such as AULRO in my own free time and on an as and when i can basis only.

I am happy to help and provide any information as and where i can, but i am no substitute for the staff i employ specifically to provide support for all BBS products either by our product support forums or Support@Blackbox-solutions.com or Support@nanocom.it

In your "Locked" case the information you require is already provided in the Faq section on the Nanocom.it web site and i have linked you directly to the relavent one in my PM reply to you.

I am sure this will help you

    Regards

I am really sorry Colin, I never thought to ask your advice on the BBS web. I guess my reasoning was that I first contacted you here on Aulro when I went to buy a Nancom.
I should of course contacted your staff on your web page.

    new to Nanocom

I was wondering if there is anyone near Geelong , who would be kind enough to have a look at my new nanocom before I have to send it back to Cyprus to get it unlocked.(That is someone who knows their way around a Nanocom).
I would be happy to travel up to 100 kms to get it going.
    regards Nick.

    Hiya Nick

You really don't need to travel anywhere or return your Nanocom to Cyprus to get it going, you simply need to read the information on the page i linked you to fully and carefully to understand where you are going wrong in entering your unlock codes.

Then you will appreciate that it is the same single problem you have causing you to not be able to access multiple vehicle systems including the Slabs and BCU.

In the many years that we have been supplying countless numbers of Nanocoms, we have seen many cases of mis understandings and problems entering these codes correctly and in each case have ensured that the information and solutions required are incorporated into this FAQ. Today we really do not see anyone having a problem that cannot be solved by the information the FAQ provides.

You are most likely entering your second code in box 2 instead of box 3 or are believing that an alphanumeric digit in the code is something other than what it really is, for which a way to know for sure is also detailed in the FAQ.

If you are still stumped write in to support@blackbox-solutions.com quoting your Nanocom ID and my staff will happily assist you.
