Hi all.
Ok I have a Nanocom 1 and I want to "see" the MAP that is in my TD5 110. I know it has been re-mapped but I don't know to what level, other than the fact it goes like stink.
I have so far.....
Read the MAP from the ecu to the nanocom and saved it there.
Connected the nanocom to my PC with XP operating system and have moved/exported the file to the PC.
I have tried opening the file from the PC. It goes into a file transfer screen with a loading bar and, when done, says Nanocom cant use this file directly from computer hard disk.
Tried opening the file from the Nanocom but a screen comes up with "Do you want to write file to the ECU?" I click yes and obviously it says "Turn ignition on" which I can't do because I'm in my office!Besides I only want to see the file....it's already on the ECU'.
I try again and click no this time and the screen goes back to the menu.
I don't have a program that will allow me to open the file independently on the PC.
I really only want to know who, what and where created the MAP for this car so I have a benchmark or starting point for further development of the vehicle.
I am very new to anything ECU related so I hope I have made clear what the problem is.![]()
Cheers

Unless you want to send a couple of grand on pro software this is the best option:
td5 map suite
It won't tell you anything about the original author of the remap, but you can see exactly what changes have been made and compare them with the factory base map.
