I too will be looking for a car to replace Christine's Jackaroo (getting to the age it apparently starts falling to bits and costing $, and uses a fair whack of fuel)
Ideally want a medium size wagon or hatch, good on fuel, a bit more refined than a Falcommodore, a bit more 'fun' than a Toyobishi. And for the $ a mid 90's 2003 Jackaroo base model might fetch....
probably too much to hope for....
Interestingly Christine has commented how heavy the steering on the Disco is, compared with the Jackaroo, so I suppose "lighter" power steering should be on the list there somewhere ?
