I’d be concerned with something logged for the engine or transmission.

Most issues recorded in the SLABS (controls ABS, HDC ect) are very easy to trace. Either SVS (shuttle valve switches) or Wheel Sensor (will tell you which one) will trigger amigos. Probably the worst case is if the SVS has brake fluid leaking in to them, but again is an easy fix. An amigo fault would not put me off at all.

A quick hit to google or us here will get an answer for most things.

Seriously, the D2 is not a complicated beast, it’s pretty simple to DIY – but if you are going to look after it yourself, you NEED access to a diagnostic kit. Nanocom or Hawkeye are good because they are not VIN locked.

I would offer my Nanocom for you to use while looking but my Dad has it up north.

And of course general checks you would have previously done for a car purchase.

I have a Nanocom you could borrow.

I've done the full modulator rebuild on ours and its not hard and I haven't seen an error in 6k km now.
