Thanks Mick, will check it out, <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Will show you mine the next time I see you.................the cargo barrier that is
oh and thanks for clearing that up.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'>Don't worry... if it's the standard type of canvas tent they are really easy to put up
First tent I have bought since I was a teen, so hopefully it is. Going to have a practice run next week. Just a thought as well, having not ever camped on the beach, how do pegs etc go in the sand, or what is the go. Was thinking about it last night, obviously dirt is a lot firmer,

    Regards

Firstly have to say you wave at other D3 but not at fellow D2, drove past you yesterday down springbrook rd, waved and nothing back, dont expect help with tent now . Only joking. I'm taking my trailer with me up to Frazer so will have some spare room if it helps to load some equipment in, give you more room as you are only a couple of kms down the road from me could load up on thursday night.

    Cheers

Well done Stevo on your purchases... those canvas tents are bloody heavy but more robust than the normal ones

Oh and you'll need to get some sand pegs for fraser... go back to anaconda or whereever and tell them you're going to fraser and what type of tent you've got and they'll hopefully tell you the right size pegs to get.... don't want the real big ones, but don't want the small ones either... find a happy medium 8)

Never camped on sand either but I think you can get sand pegs....most tents come with them I think, I always assumed that was what those yellow platcic ones were for although someone may correct me.

I'm considering renting a camper trailer for the weekend....anyone know where to get one...probably should have looked at the 4x4 show at the weekend

You can get/hire campers from Kratzmans in Brisbane they have the off road one you are after, they are on the north side from memory, good value and all equipment is near new.

P.S Are you still looking at changing bull bar as i will have first offer on you current bar when you are ready.

    Cheers

Had a feeling it may have been yourself, as I know the other members cars in that area. Its can be quite dark inside the car so sometimes people dont see the wave, hence why I sometimes wave out the sunroof. Ill see how I go for space, am going to give a trial pack next weekend, make sure it all fits otherwise will take you up on your generous offer ( especially since you know I did wave back now) , thanks Josh and Mick about the sand pegs :? , so glad I asked now, might have been a bit tough me and the winks crashing in the back of the D3. Also Mick I think I still have brochure at home and it had the listing of suppliers etc at the show, and Im sure it had ones that hired as Sharlea pointed it out to me. I feel like a little kid Im so excited, can anyone tell, huh.huh ,

    Regards
