Thread: Spotted whilst out and about in Vic

Driving home from work yesterday in Collingwood (apologies for the first pic)...

I see a lot of Series/Defenders in Collingwood - perhaps it's a "trendy" area..

I spotted this Td5 Defender 130 on the way out of Melbourne this afternoon. Anyone from here? Looks like a lots been done to it.

Spotted a white very tall single cab Unimog with a camper body, the roof edges were angled and it had solar panels mounted either side.
Was leaning like a boat as it cornered due to being at least 4m tall, number plate is UNIMOG.

Coming off the Western ring rd at Greensborough this morning i saw a black D2 with LRTD5 plates, it was chugging like a steam train so expect the manifold/gasket/studs need to be seen to.

I've seen that one a few times in our part of town

Spotted an early Defender 110 single cab on a trailer heading Melbourne way from Warrnambool on Sunday. It was missing the rear axle & looked pretty tired.

I know the owner. Was an active member on the old D2 Yahoo group..
