    Grumbes, consider General Grabbers for your LSE. My brother has them on his LSE and they are doing well in central Gippsland areas.

    They are standard fitment on Defenders, and mine chipped very badly. They may have changed the compound, but if not I couldn't recommend them if you drive over abrasive dirt roads.

    I had a set of these MS351 on some steelies I bought. They were new.They were passenger construction. 235/70/16
    These were nothing special in any area and really only served the purpose of rubber on rims. IMO these are the tyre you buy when you are tight on funds and need rego ASAP. Better than a retread though. There are many better choices.

    I wasn't chasing the cheapest tyre but merely looking at altenatives to my current set of Bridgestone M&S 604V all terrain duellers. These have been good and not one stone puncture but are now half way worn out [down to 5/6 mm of tread] with the shoulders displaying some rounding of the square edges -time to go.

    The Federal mudders seem to get a good wrap around the traps.....,
