well last night we only got 24mls but earlier on in the week we got 34mls over a few days last night it was heaps windy and i have never heard rain that loud before and this is what it did to our paddocks and creek by the way creek is still going up might get some photos later but for now,

It was a shocker here also. I don't ever recall waking up and going to check that everything was still attached to the house! I seriously though the front porch was going to be missing. My entrance area inside the house was flooded by rain that was hitting the front door and getting through the weather shield, and the front door is under the porch! Even the back sliding door and windows which were not facing the wind and under an alfresco rood were all wet.
I don't know what the gust speeds were - mind you it was a great big constant gust.

"Now the Creek " photo should stop a few of those Indian Door to Door Optus phone pests from calling,, but then again there are some that don't take no for an answer
