I had a bit of a chuckle about Hamish's warnings.

Andy. I would strongly recommend fitting a cargo barrier, one that can be fitted either behind the front seats and or behind the rear seats.Another smart move is to take out a total care/road side assistance as it can cost an arm and a leg if some one has to come to your rescue also Ambulance coverage ,very expensive if an air ambulance is required.Neither costs are dear when you consider what they offer- other than piece of mind. The other is to plan the trip and find out as much as you can as to what you are letting your self in for and work out plan A with alternatives. The other smart move keep everyone in the loop as to what the plan so as there is no misunderstandings. The other important action keep in contact with this forum. This is great country to travel, the down side is it's unforgiving, this is not a great problem to a well planned trip.Best of luck in your adventure-Lochie
