Yes, offers in & finally accepted a few months ago. A bit of a long story but the agent but up a non-existent buyer to bump our offer up.

When we moved into our place the local plumbing supplier old bloke told us not to worry to much about the tanks. His comment was that most people would never drink their tank water again if they looked in them. You can get the water tested quite easily.
A septic that has been idle for a year is likely to have shut down. You may find it takes a while to getting humming along happily.
Our place had been empty for a year and a half. Only problem had been the local teens who had got in to use the phone for free. Easily fixed once the phone was disconnected.
As for fire. Just set the standing rule for the first summer of evac strait away. We had that rule for the first 3 years. If a fire was comming then our place is lost so get out and help save the neighbours. I also told the neighbours not to try to save our place unless people were there.

Oh well, I don't have to worry about draining the concrete tank.
The neighbour has now hooked up to the tank & is using it himself - there's a nice big hose going down to his property.
So I've taken the 'first flush' cap off the feed pipe to the tank & a massive amount of dirty water came out. I've left it off so the neighbour will be wondering why his water supply has dried up.
As a bonus, I worked out how the water pump down at the concrete tank works. It has a power box down at the tank but I couldn't get the pump to operate.
I found a separate switch tucked away up under the eaves of the house to operate it remotely.
