    The episdoes where the TGA team have been left to their own devices have been on a downward spiral ... The only remotely decent episode in the TGA season to date was the Lake Eyre trip.

    The Grey Nomad episode was just a cringe fest of blatant tryhard slapstik from start til finish ... And why the hell is Shane Warne on the show getting to drive all the big guns, IMO he has no credability where cars are concerned, he may own some nice rigs, but leave the driving to the respected and recognised racers/jurno's etc ... Hell, I'd rather see Skaife doing it and I think he is a complete TARD! Good driver, Damn straight! ... Full of himself with his head stuck at the shoulders up his ass, ABSOLUTELY!

    While the show is kinda hard to watch, you can't help but sit through the episodes week to week to see if they either can actually make a decent one with great segments and entertainment worthy watching, or if they are going to come away looking like puppets with stretched bumholes!

    One more whinge, the test track and the ute ... ITS POO!! The track has a few good points but its all over the place and for the love of Pete, the Moron who thought it would be a great idea to use a Falcon ute as the celeb car needs a smack up the back of the head! the rest of the show follows the blueprint of the UK TG, so why try and Aussie it up by using a shytbox ute!??

    BAH!

    It's a Comedy show that has cars on it, not a car show with some humour! Just like the UK show!

    I think its getting better, its still a bit lame, but better than the secound ever episode!

    the UK show has had the advantage that the presenters have built a rapport over the last however many years and so they have that chemistry.

    the current format of UK Top Gear has changed since the start, I dont think James May was there right at the begining and they used to have short sections of some bloke talking about news cars for sale that were a bargin. They refined the format.

    what is Shane Warne doing in a car? He must have paid some money to get on the show! there are others out there but maybe after seeing the first two seasons didn't want to be associated with it?

    I agree that it is too like the UK show and tey havent had the time to get the chemistry right, but I thin it will happen.

    I must say that i was dissapointed with the episode, the first few were quite good and after being excited about the 4wd aspect of it i thought it was a big let down.

    I thought the senseless destruction of the caravans so early in the peice was a bit stupid and just them copying Clarkson and Hammond when they run into what ever May buys in the UK TG.

    The standards have slipped and with Kenny being quite good in the first few he is trying to be like Clarkson now, just with more Aussie related one liners.

    Channel 9 should make a public apology for;

    a) destroying the ebb and flow and synergy of TGUK with mindless ad breaks and "fast tracked" episode bull****;

    b) for having the distinct lack of vision, imagination or taste by even thinking of making an Australian equivalent. Drivel.

    remember that channel 9 didnt create TGAus, SBS started with that. But Ch9 hasnt helped, this season is marginally better and started with some promise, but its going down hill it would appear.

    As for a), I agree, they have ruined TGUK.

    Actually, the BBC created Top Gear. SBS was just the conduit through which it was broadcast here before it was sodomised by channel 9.

    yeah thats what i meant.

    At least we arent getting superized episodes anymore. Ch9 must think we are stupid if they expect us to believe that its actually supersized. I think showing an episode that aired on SBS first in a 1hr time slot and then adding nothing to it and telling us its superized because it now last for 90 minutes is nothing more than an insult to viewers.
