Sprint, if your scanning the Ambulance channel tonight you might hear me, hang on, no you wont because our radios dont seem to be working in the Emerald/Blackwater area!!
as a friend of mine said last week:
now, i've got the wireless turned on, UHF is scanning the appropriate emergency services channels, and i'm catching the odd newsflash on TV......I might re-write the 131940 web site - the river between Emerald and Rocky is cut due to dry spots commonly known as "roads" appearing in a few spots - preferred method of transport - Hovercraft
and i'm far from being in danger of floodwaters!

And one station (can't remember which) relayed to 3DN (Deniliquin)

yea, the QPS repeater seems to be a source of some grief atm, theres interferance galore even with the squelch turned right up, and it seems to be only the western channel doing it
not too sure if i'd pick you up anyway, the QPS frequencies i have confirmed, the QAS frequencies are still sketchy
I remember 3KZ as having good all night music programmes in the 1960's. I could pick it up from Colo Heights on the Putty Road and keep it with only a few bad spots all the way up the New England to Warwick, losing it it totally when one turned into the goomburra Valley between Warwick and Cunningham's Gap.
