    On the outside looks the goods but maybe trim the stripe back about 5mm around the plate so it doesn't look like an afterthought. Black looks OK but colour matching the plate would be nicer.

    Thanks for that idea mate, my brother suggested it as well. Will do

    Thinking about maybe powdercoating it this colour, to match the roof rack and all the checker plate

    This was the original plan (obviously trimmed up and looking good)



    But I think I'm erring towards powdercoating, on the outside with the sticker trimmed back a bit

    My asthetics have been questioned in the past however I think if you are going to start to colour match things you will have to colour match against the Defender side sticker/pinstripe

    Interesting Jock.I'm seeking extra fuel capability as well.Which tank are you using?Is yours a 4door 110 or not?Will a series 3 tank fit ?

    Mine is a 2 door, so I have heaps of space in front of the rear wheels

    The tank I found was custom built by a bloke, and the other tank I plan on getting made will fit in the well in the back



    I think your best bet would be a Long Ranger from ARB and find a tank similar to this that will fit in the rear quarter behind the rear wheel (This is going to be my water tank)
