    This is THE sports even of the year in my book. Nevermind the olympics, football etc.

    I've been a fan of the Dakar in almost twenty years now. Last year I was on location even . I wasn't able to see the action in the outback unfortunelly, but that I have to do the next time I go to Argentina. I did however see the start and finish in Buenos Aires.
