    poetry corner

hello people I have penned a masterpiece that I felt I should share with you all.
If you have your own poetry post it here :Fords are **** house holdens are rusty I love me landies especially dusty
Toyota's fall over mitsubishi's are dud its best when your landy is covered in mud
Nissans three goes bang with ease Land Rover doesn't suffer this desease.
Landy does have its own quirks and when I'm not raging makes me smirk,

Especially I love that after days of repairing toil, the driveways still bloody covered in oil

OK here is my attempt crosstick poet myself

    L
arge list of problems but I love my four wheeler
Anyone will tell you, first names with the dealer
Nice new look dash and gears that are heaven
Dealer advises rear diff number seven

Reverse light not working, and engines been switched
Overhaul common while new parts get ditched
Various changes to suit what I do, car warranty void as I used the wrong glue
Even though I thought, why why did I buy, I look at it standing all proud on the drive
Rovers are different and not like the others, I know I come here to vent to my brothers
Still, having a landy does not make me a loser, would rather them problems than drive a jap cruiser.

    I like your one lardy

    Go and buy a puma,
    A packet it will be.
You'll never get to drive it,
Forever at the dealers workshop you see.

It's got a fancy type new dash
And gears, there's six to use.
But the bloody thing will never run.
So make sure you own good shoes.

The worst driveline in recent years,
    A bloody transit motor.
Oh well I guess, it could be worse.
    It could be a Toyota!!!!

Series are hard and tougher than all
Engines are slow, but that of a crawl
Rivets are mushrooms and bolts are held tight
Interesting headlights that go out in the night
Everyone comments, I cant bleed the brakes
So is it this hard with all other makes
There's rust in the chassis and much through the door
With rust on the bulkhead, cross member and floor
Owners that have them rebuild them with heart
And show how they should be built, right from the start.

Gee Lou, you have a talent for this stuff

Keep it up, and ask Inc for a poetry corner department...no Janome content as that is covered elsewhere

    Here's another :

    I'm glad I own a landy, a Beemer just wouldn't do
Now mercs might be flashy, owning one would not make me happy but just make me blue.
I'm glad I own a Landy for scrub and a road cruise too,
Can't go off road in a mini It'd ground out in seconds and upon the earth would chew
I'm glad I own a Landy as it's at least an hour of fun, of course that is only after the month of maintenance work has been done,
I'm glad I own a Landy and I am glad you have one too it's nice to share the frustration and fun and to catch up for a brew
