When I built it into a Custom built motorhome they gave me a number to stamp it with. Do you want that.?
It does not tie into any military background or anything.

That icecream truck would have been fantastic on some recent AULRO outings!

    G'day Folks

Those English 6 x 6's would probably be Carmichael chassis who did Rover's 110/Defender 6x6 chassis conversions a lot were also 6x4's

There was a bare new 6x6 Australian 6x6 chassis in the local secondhand/ex-auction dealer in Caboolture a few years ago,I didn't take a lot of notice of it as he wanted $$$$$$ for it, I have a funny feeling that it was a wide chassis,I am aware that the Dept of Defence did try to re-purchase those chassis that were auctioned off, post Gulf War 2 so that one in Caboolture may have been re-purchased as it was there for a lot of years, sitting by the fence.

The white 6 x 6 that was at Cooma 08 is still the property of Rover Aust. it was the prototype wide body and was retained by JRA, the driver, who was with his wife, is an old workmate of mine who recognised me after all those years, and we had a good talk and catch up while at the mass photo shoot sorry but I have not got Vin No's of either.

    cheers

Do you have some before and after photos of your vehicle? I'm interested in it in general, also, it helps me weed out photos of it if I have some, and think it's a LRA built vehicle.

    6x6

Found this old photo I took at British Off Road about 12 yrs ago. Ex tour truck . It had double shock mounts in front I thought was a good idea and copied it for mine.
