    Cheers Matt
When I was looking for a d2 recently I made all initial contact via email. I had a couple of cases were the seller didn't bother responding. My take was if they couldn't be arsed replying to email they weren't a genuine seller and I wasn't going to waste a call.

    Hey there Matt,

You may be right about the lights Scouse/Matt though there are so many variations on the early cars (and the last of the line) it's not always clear cut, and don't forget it is a LR .

It is an awful lot of work and expense just to make it look more "modern". We car owners are just weird though.

My feelings are shared with you on the phone conversation aspect. I'd much rather go that way. There's pro's and con's with either method though.

Mind you, I've lost count of the mindless individuals who call you to ask inane questions about information that was clearly stated in the ad copy. Then after spending an inordinate amount of time walking them through it all by phone they advise they'll be there to see it at XX:XX and then never bother to front. Don't get me started on the orders of magnitude worse it is selling property. Some people should have been euthanised at birth!

Seems to all be part of the hassled process of selling an automobile of any sort regrettably.

    Cheers,
    Iain

    Hi.

I have already sent two emails asking for information and a contact number.

I use a phone number as you can get a feel for the person making the enquiry.

Protect myself though by buying a cheap pay as you go sim card which I then throw away when it is sold.
