MumblingBoofHeads post isn't worth respondng to,only to agree that this is the best 4wd website in the world, despite his presence.
But Bob, I'm not and never am in a rush. I don't need to chill out and I live in a beautiful part of gods own.Don't need to move up north. been there done that, got the T shirt.
When I click on to a website in the morning and it takes 15minutes to get on then something is amiss. I am almost a computer Dufus but when other websites are working ok then it is reasonable to assume that somehing is amiss with Aulro. I thought maybe it is the size of Aulro, with so many forums and sub forums that slow things down, not only today but on a regular basis. If no one else has persistant problems logging on then i need to assume that the issue is with my PC.Just strange that it's only Aulro that's all..
    Wagoo.

Sometimes I get a similar problem, in particular on my wireless connection. Could have something to do with the time of day being popular and putting heavy load on the AULRO server.

Interestingly there are complaints of similar on the Netrider forum in the last few days.
Also a vBulletin forum, in case that makes any difference ?!

I think only one of the Admin can answer the question of outages, I'm on Optusnet cable with a WiFi router connection to my laptop, but I don't think it's at our end but at the server.

What I do know is that Incisor spent a large bundle of cash on a much larger faster server only in the last 6 weeks, so it may still be commissioning problems.

Whatever it is I personally have no complaints about the service Inc. provides us on AULRO.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

Mines OK, and for what its worth I am not buying into that little spat earlier in the thread (behave children or go to your rooms without the computers! ) I like this forum because people are tolerant of each other...don't wreck it for me please!

    Back on theme...
    1) faster speeds cost money...is everyone subscribing? http://www.aulro.com/afvb/faq.php?fa...tionsexplained

    2) our web page (AULRO) was first thought of in 1947/48 as the landies started arriving, unfortunately the world took another 50 odd years to invent and update the internet to a stage where we could use it. so we may not be largest but we are the longest lasting???
(its my story and Im sticking with it!)

Persistent 'slowness and incomplete page load' problems here too. No worries, it is a small part of life in general and if at first it doesn't load as fast as all other sites do, there is plenty left out there for me to do... just wish it wasn't so slow and was like all the other websites I visit.

A great website to persist with but persistence has limits often reached while trying to reach this site...
