Those Puma things are having enough issues without you putting P38a bits into it. Imagine the reliability specially when you take it anywhere near water:twisted: The defender panels would not keep the water our and that petrol V8 would stop just by looking at water.
ummm Ron remember this thread...

If you are going to buy anything make sure it is new with an extended warranty, others have said already, please take advice;):D
Mrs hh:angel:
I think you should buy a new Defender Ron, at the very least you will get to meet lots of new people:
LR Mechanic
LR Head Mechanic
LR Service Manager
LR Customer Care
Psychologists
Various RAC truck drivers
:)
I know some of those people already, Tim. :(
:D
Borrow one and go for a drive (200km at least) with the missus. They aren't as comfy as a 110, so compared to your RR.....
I love mine, but the missus thinks its uncomfortable and noisy. She prefers her Disco 1. :(
I know what you mean. I drove this one a couple of hundred km to deliver it when it was near new. I did tell her they tend to pitch a bit owing to the short wheelbase.
I think my wife would also be disappointed with the acceleration - she drives a current model Turbo Forester.
Buy it, but buy it for me.
Ron, you know they're sexy cars and as you know, the one you knock back is the one you'll never get :)
