I'm surprised there hasn't been any bites at this yet

I think we as myopic AULRO advocates sometimes forget the reality that in most instances, we are a minority!
I think we sometimes think that the only great landy mods get posted on this board?

We are dreaming!, it is easily the best way to waste time on the net specific to the australian landy s,cene but it does not fully encompass the australian landy scene. Last year i saw a puma defer trundle through town on portals with something like 37s on it? Was a 130 with a nice custom tub. Lots and lots of custom work ona near new fender and no mention on AUlRO?

    C'est la vie

maybe cards left at counters in landy service centres, mechanics and acc/spare parts suppliers that can be picked up by customers who are obviously already interested in the marque etc..

if not cards, maybe a poster with details etc so those interested could find us later..

    cheers

I note however it does have discowhite on it and no way to edit the name field.
I reckon I can edit it.
Now where did I put the white out and green pen?

I've lost track of the number of people i 've told about the site over the years, but every Landy owner or potential convert(i do try) that comes into the shop gets told about it.

Great stuff, but the problem here is that most of what people are told goes in one ear and out the other - give them a card with the contact details on it and and there is a much greater chance that that they'll actually logon to the site.

When I mentioned AULRO at Purnells, I got the impression they were not big fans of the forum there.

I found AULRO on the net after drowning our previous car, from memory I was on ExplorOz when someone mentioned it in a thread about other forums, at the time I had no idea there were other forums

Purnell's are only a big fan of $ as I worked for them in the 70's for a while before returning to Ausfields
